Ramada Carlsbad

It was a strange room. The door had been previously kicked in and was barely repaired.

Clean, comfortable. Other than the groovy orange and green bedding, room was fine. Had coffee/tea maker, refrigerator.

The 2-bedroom suite was nicer than his apartment in Hollywood! The suite was great. We could easily live there if we needed to. It was clean, in good condition, great pool & spa, pleasant fountain sound outside our window. The breakfast situation was less than ideal though. Breakfast was way too crowded to get anything quickly. You have to go right when it opens to eat quickly.

This hotel was not what I had expected for the star level and reviews. The breakfast was average but the layout was too confined and made it un-enjoyable. Overal it gets a 7.5 from me. I have stayed in much better and worst so, there.

For the last 3 months I've stayed at this hotel Monday to Friday & I love it. However, don't stay here during Christmas break as the hotel was filled with students 7 teenagers. It was so crowded that I gave up even trying to eat the breakfast as there was no way you could get a seat & many of the guests were just rude. ...read more
